Another problem would be the lack of voice communication that you would find from someone in the same room. The first is that the online connections are spotty at best and if you get disconnected - the game ends. You can also play by yourself locally if you have two online partners, but that is mired with a few problems. Two players can play locally, but only if they find a third partner via the internet. Three people (who all have their own 3DS) can play together locally. While that sounds fun on paper, the problem is that it's largely an absolute requirement in order to play the game.
The game is built around the premise of 3 player co-op.
This latest title in the acclaimed Zelda series is, unfortunately, the weakest entry to date.
